Viewpoints by Luke Browne, at Manulife Investment Management
Luke is responsible for leading the investment performance and process execution within the Multi-Asset Solutions Team (MAST) and for leading the team's strategic growth. He's also senior portfolio manager on a number of multi-asset solutions and facilitates the development of bespoke solutions across Manulife Investment Management.
MAST designs bespoke solutions on behalf of retail and institutional clients around the world and includes asset allocation, liability-driven investing, liquid alternative, beta management, and outsourced chief investment officer/fiduciary solutions for pension plans. Asset solutions include target-risk, target-date, and a wide array of strategic, tactical, and absolute return multi-asset class strategies that are highly customizable depending on client objectives.
Before joining Manulife Investment Management, Luke spent eight years with UBS Asset Management in London where he served as managing director and global head of investment solutions specialists, head of investment solutions portfolio management, and deputy global head of structured solutions. Prior to that, he was at Schroder Investment Management as head of structured solutions and also worked at Banca Popolare di Milano and Midland Bank Plc.
